So After my last post, I decided I needed to get it together.. If I continue on the route i'm on we are never gonna get anything accomplished in our home. So..
Our weekend project: Bostyn's playroom.
We have a two story home and have one bedroom downstairs right off of our living room. Matt had plans to make this his office...and in his defense, he really does need one with all the paperwork he is always doing for work BUT... i convinced him that Bostyn is in need of a play room downstairs even more.
We only have tile in our living areas, which will be fine when she is walking and crawling but she will be rolling over, and over, and over any day now. (yes this was my argument, and I won..hehe) Any who, so we started her play room this weekend.
Saturday was spent cleaning out this room, which has been used as storage for all the miscellaneous items junk we have, since we moved in.
I wanted it to be bright so we chose a coral color and bumble bee yellow. I love it.
Remember my last post about our laundry troubles??
...well we have some improvement..
I know this still looks crazy, but its not a pile anymore, its actually folded. This is improvement let me tell you. I owe all this to Matthew. He did tons of laundry this weekend. I don't know what id do without him!
Note: this folded laundry is still on the couch as of now, but I plan to put it all away when I get home from work tonight. =)
Friday, I went out (solo) (for the first time in Bostyn's life, and Matt practically kicked me out of the door) and enjoyed the talented Ryan Andreas!! I have listen to him play for many years, but never in this type of setting (bar\club) it was amazing to see how many devoted fans he has! His voice is AmAzing and he is doing great things!
I had a great time! I missed B, but she was sound asleep in bed, so it made it a little easier.
This next stuff is kind of random, but I wanted to post a couple of pics.
Please excuse the swollen face, This was a picture taken while I was getting over an allergic reaction, but I love this pic of Bostyn.
Bostyn loves her uncle Fir Fur Fir!
Summer is here and we have already started to celebrate. Our first event of the summer??? A BBQ at the gorgeous home of the Plunks..
Excited to see her friends.
Her first dip in a pool.
I didn't manage to get very many pictures, but it was tons of fun!
Ill keep you posted on the playroom... I have tons of stenciling to do when I get home!!
