Finally... Bostyn has a crib!

I say FINALLY because Matt has been searching..and searching..and searching for months!  Matt has checked every manufacture defect list, every recall list, the consumer report, consumer product safety site  along with the hundreds of reviews. (Bostyn, little do you know your daddy is already so protective of you).  I love this about Matt. He is so thorough, making things a little easier on me.  The best part is that he took on this task all on his own.

We ordered Bostyn's crib, mattress and changing table which came in this last weekend (we are still waiting on the changing table). I don't think the crib was in our home for hours before Matt started putting it together.  I thought for sure he would need help.. nope he had the situation under control!

I LOVE seeing Matt so excited for Bostyn! I know he will be an amazing father as he is already and amazing husband and friend.

I find myself standing at the door of Bostyn's nursery... just staring at her crib. Wondering what life will be like when I get to wrap my arms around her.

Whats your sleep number?!?!

HEALTH NOTE:

On Friday, Matt took me into Urgent Care because I was completley out of it. So weak that I could barley lift my head to kiss him.  I had been feeling "out of it" all day but figured it was just because we went to the LA Fair the night before.

At urgent care they took me in right away, did a quick physical and sent me right to the lab for blood work.  being so out of it I did not have the energy to be nervous or scared. But I could see it all over Matt's face though...

Blood test came back and it turns out I have pregnancy anemia caused by a potassium deficiency.  Potassium is a mineral in our blood that allows for all the nutrients we consume to be absorbed into our body.  With my potassium being so low I was getting very little nutrients, as a result the "out of it" feeling.

They pumped me full of potassium and prescribed me a prescription for a potassium supplement and sent us on our way, but not before checking Bosyn's heartbeat.. pumping stong as usual (what a relief).

Today I have much more energy. I would say almost normal. We have a follow up doctors appointment on Friday to recheck my blood to determine if I need to continue on the potassium supplement through the rest of the pregnancy. (lets hope not)

On a lighter note..... my Grandma, my cousin and I started baby shower shopping!!!!
