SURPRISE!!

I love the ladies at my work!  Today they threw us (yes, us! three of us) a surprise baby shower.  It was a surprise until id say Wednesday of this week, when all the girls in the office just couldn't keep it in any more! BUT to give them credit, they have been planning this shower for all three of us for two months now! Soo considering we work in an office of nothing but women, they did a great job at keeping it a secret!

We enjoyed YUMMY food, great decorations, a game and of course presents!  Check out some pictures.. there are many. Jenn had my camera and captured some good ones!

They made us cover our eyes.. three pregnant women walking blind.

mmmmm....cake!

We had such a great time!!
Thank you so much to all the ladies in our office for putting this together. It was truly amazing!

I came home from work and Matt was just as excited and started going through everything.  Having this shower makes me sooooooo (I cant say it enough) excited for my shower. I see the littlest thing like a pair of socks and my mind goes wild picturing Baby Bostie wearing them. I want to hold her and kiss her and dress her and never let go...all this baby stuff just makes me want her here so much more!

Bostyn, I hope you know how much your mommy and daddy already adore you!

~Love Taps From Bostyn~

Last weekend was the very first time we have ever felt Bostyn actually kick me.  I have felt the flutters and occasional twitch but not much from her and I'm six months pregnant.  This is due to the fact that my placenta is in the front rather than the side or back so I have an extra cushion there. Bostyn finally has enough strength to kick/elbow/nudge hard enough for mommy and daddy to feel her!  Matt's face lit up when he felt her kick.. he kept his hand on my belly just waiting for the next (which she gave us quite a few, coming out with a bang). I would try and talk and he would sshhuushhh me as if my talking would effect his ability to feel her kick. It was adorable.  I LOVE IT!!

All smiles from the Metoyer's!

Oh ya and just an update...I think we may have a problem.  This is how we have found Marty several times!!

"Hey I'm trying to sleep here..."

We removed all stuffed animals in hopes she'd stay out...as you can see, that didn't work out so well!
