Whats Mommyhood Like So Far??

AMAZING!

..tiring, and confusing, but overall AMAZING!

Its tiring because we(yes I say we, even though its me during the week, on the weekends Matt is supper daddy and is up with me) are up most of the night and day feeding because she is still so little we are still feeding every two-three hours. There have been times when we have squeezed a four hour stretch in there but its rare. Bostyn is like clockwork. Right about two and a half hours she is awake and her mouth is wide open saying "feed me momma" and even though I am half asleep and out of it at 12am, 2am, and 4am I absolutely adore these times with her. I see her face and my sleep is no matter.

Breastfeeding is going really good. It is tough work let me tell you. It has been easier but initially it was a lot of work. Matt made the comment "Now I know why people give up so easily, this is tough work" but we stuck to it and its going well so far. =)

Mommyhood has become a bit confusing because with Bostyn reaching three weeks old we have now started the guessing game. As in, guess that cry. We have a couple of them down, but just when we think we have her figured out she throws us a curve ball and crys a new cry.  Its very rare when she does cry, so we scramble to figure out how we can help her and make it all better.

When Bostyn was first born she looked just like mommy! Everyday though she looks more and more like daddy. She has already changed so much. I just love staring at her, and she is staring back with actual focus now. Like I said, Mommyhood is amazing!!
