...and not the kind that make you feel good.
I have a quick second while Matt is consoling Bostyn to share about our first shot experience. On a lighter note...
HAPPY TWO MONTHS BABY GIRL!! We love you soo much!
First off I have to rant and rave about Bostyn's pediatrician.. His name is Dr. Sharpe, and he was actually mine and my brothers pediatrician growing up. I was so thrilled when I saw that he was accepting patients. He looks just the same as I remember, just a little grey around the edges..
I Walked in there with all kinds of questions and meds to ask him about (ie teething tabs, Tylenol, gas drops, and a soy formula we are supplementing) He was great about addressing all my concerns and never once did I feel rushed or get a rushed response from him.
I am proud to report Bostyn's stats:
She weighs 11lbs 2oz (50%)
She is 22 1/2" tall (55%)
At her one month check up she was in the 25th percentile, so its safe to say she is catching up. =)
This might look like all the SAME picture to you but to me I can see a million differences, so ill post them all.
"mom, what is this place? get me out of here"
She was so playful and all over the place on that bench.
And then came the ShOtS... She did so good, she cried of course but not hysterically like I was expecting. Right after her shots I was able to nurse her right away.
You have no idea the satisfaction you get from being able to calm your upset baby. She nursed and cried, nursed and cried but after about five min was completely calm.
..and this is how we left.
I thought to myself...hhmmm no Tylenol after all....
That was the thought till right about the time we got to the car and she was a balling mess of tears..and I reached for the Tylenol.
Tonight she has been fussy but not fussy if that makes any sense. I think she is doing pretty good, lets hope the next couple of days go the same.
